The courthouse received new electrical upgrades, exterior masonry restoration, window replacement, door repairs as well as wood floor and wood ceiling repair and replacement.

The existing pressed metal tin ceiling was repaired, deteriorated plaster walls were repaired and repainted. The wood windows, window shutters, floors and ceilings were stripped and stained to match the original colors.

The architectural metal restoration required cornice and cladding repair/replacement and new zinc/tin-coated copper gutters, copper roofing, and clock refurbishment. New custom decorative sheet metal elements were produced and installed at original locations.

The existing flat seam metal roofing on the clock tower was removed and replaced with new copper flat seam roofing. The courthouse window sills were replaced with new cypress sills, the remaining windows glazed and refurbished, and the entire courthouse was repainted.

The strict requirements of preserving historic fabric, detailed replication of original profiles, and the installation of new or refurbished materials incorporating historic methods were met throughout the process.
