The courthouse received new, exterior masonry restoration and new cast stone. The deteriorated plaster walls were repaired and repainted.
The wood windows were stripped and stained to match the original colors. The architectural metal restoration required cornice repair/replacement, new metal roof tiles, and a new mod-bit roof.
New custom decorative sheet metal elements were produced and installed at original locations. The existing wood floors were repaired and refinished, and the concrete floors were repaired and leveled.
New concrete flatwork, handicap ramp, and stair landing repairs and elevator were installed. The courthouse received a new HVAC system and new plumbing fixtures throughout.
The strict requirements of preserving historic fabric, detailed replication of original profiles and, the installation of new or refurbished materials incorporating historic methods were met throughout the process.
